Description
Touchwood in Solihull is an award winning, 650 000 square foot shopping destination which opened its doors in September 2001.
Touchwood is defined by four very different arcades:
Crescent Arcade - anchored by the only John Lewis in the West Midlands, includes tenants such as Top Shop, H&M, River Island, Apple, Jones the Bootmaker and Hobbs.
Poplar Arcade - situated adjacent to John Lewis and inspired by Burlington Arcade in London’s West End, featuring intimate boutiques and individual shops such as Karen Millen, L’Occitane, Bratz and Swarovski.
Mill Lane Arcade - provides the primary entrance into the shopping centre and includes retailers such as East, Vision Express, Build-a-Bear and Claire’s Accessories.
Lower Mill Lane Arcade - Zara, Beaverbrooks Lakeland and The Entertainer head the tenant line up which is situated directly below the dining terrace and entrance to the only cinema in Solihull. Lower Mill Lane is favoured by restaurants such as Wagamama and Nandos.
Two internal courtyards, Ivy Court, outside the entrance to John Lewis and The Map Room.
Location
Touchwood is located in the heart of Solihull and is easily reached by car. Junction 5 of the M42 is only a short distance away from Solihull town centre, providing a convenient link to the M6, M5 and M40 motorways.
Solihull is UK's fifth most affluent borough. 1.8 million people live in principal catchment area.
There are 6,000 car parking spaces in the town centre, with over 1,700 located in Touchwood.
